InGARSS 2020 is now a virtual meeting

Last Updated: 30th October, 2020

In light of the difficulties that the research community has encountered in conducting research and preparing papers in the past months since the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, and considering that the pandemic’s impacts on gatherings may continue well into the future, the InGARSS 2020 organizing committee has decided that holding a successful and engaging symposium in person as planned is not possible.

The InGARSS 2020 organizing committee is pleased to invite you to join InGARSS 2020! Due to the pandemic our plans to meet in Ahmedabad have been altered, and InGARSS 2020 is now a virtual symposium. We have planned engaging and diverse activities, including invited speakers, tutorials, technical sessions, and special sessions for Young Professionals, Women in Engineering, and our Industry Partners. The technical program highlights the breadth of topics our technical sessions cover, including all major areas of geoscience and remote sensing. The tutorials on December 1, 2020 will be delivered by highly renowned researchers in their respective fields and promise to be very informative.

In the next several weeks, the details of the technical program will be posted, including the papers. We will use an innovative conference management tool that will be integrated into this website, for a one-stop experience for the conference. We will be encouraging speakers at the technical session to produce videos of their presentations to be posted prior to the conference. Early registrants will have access to these presentations to review prior to the conference.

The organizing committee and our generous sponsors are very much looking forward to your participation in this inaugural InGARSS event. InGARSS 2020 is being held for the benefit of the international GRSS community with emphasis on India, and your participation will make it a great success. Register today and join us!

Wishing you the best of health and good preparation for InGARSS 2020!
